Materials
Kolibri's processed materials always have a higher carbon content in the ferritic range, i.e. Kolibri prints materials in the powder bed based 3D printing process that other service providers do not offer. But that is not all. By admixing various carbides, industrial diamonds or even MoS2, powder combinations, so-called MMCs, are created that are tailored to customer-specific requirements. The term "high-performance materials" thus takes on a completely new meaning. Of course, Kolibri also offers this "customizing" in the stainless steel and light metal sector.
Systems
Kolibri discovered that the presence of moisture in the powder - even the smallest amount - has a significant impact on the print results. Be it cracks or pores - bound water, gases or elements that negatively affect the printing results are removed from the powder with our technology. This has now resulted in a product of its own: The powder drying system ATACAMA.
